Free entry before a certain time with cheap booze. There's a real good vibe here, but its deep hip-hop music so be warned! The bar is a little run down, so don’t expect any quality here, plus it's a little small. There have another section upstairs, but it requires you to go outside to get to it, a little weird!

This is the place where everyone goes on a Sunday, and as a Sunday bar its jamming. The music is a little mixed up but the drinks are great.
The bar has a American feel to it and scattered dance floor. Seating both inside and outside with the beach opposite gives this places. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

This is mainly a restaurant with a bar area which is really busy, too busy. To get to the bar is virtually impossible, and service is pretty slow. The bar gets so packed it over flows on to the street and into the road. Traffic is pretty slow going past it.

There’s no place to dance, and you’ll be pretty pushed to find a place to sit.

Not worth a visit !

Ram packed, student feeling bar, with dancers and outside area to chill in. Watch out, you’ll find a few “night workers” there offering you services for cash. Music is your typical pop music and there’s not much of a dance area, but there’s plenty of seating.

Cap town café, is a bar with an indoor super small dance floor. It's the prefect place to start the night for two reasons. Ladies Drink for free, and 2 bottle of Kingfisher beer cost 50p. Mambos is one of the main clubs just at the bottom of the strip. It’s a little bit of a dodgy place, more like a meat market. It’s not clean by any standard, but with plenty of cheep booze, a bucking bronco, massive dance floor with ladies only stage and upper level. Plus with ladies free all night, I was surprised not to see hen parties touring up and down the strip, but there’s plenty of hippies and back packers.

This place is hard to find and anit that big inside, roughly the size of a sports hall.Saying that it was alrite inside, drinks were a descent price, a nice vibe and a lot of girls :). The only down side would be the size of the venue, but would deffo go there again.

Down some dodgy alley way is this smallish bar.

Pretty cool and nice to go to for a few drinks or on a date and need to hideaway. It's more of an lounge bar, so it wasn't too lively at all!

Love the lack of imagination in the name; this bar seems to be another of Melbourne’s hidden away gems.

Sitting on the top floor (no lift so prepare to walk) you have bar that over look the city. At night you'll have a great view, while having a few drinks of course. It has an open air cinema, not sure what they play, but bar is fully stocked and there was a bar-be-q so you can get some food.

This hidden away bar is on the rooftop of a building. From the entrance it doesn't even seem like a bar, more like a office block, but yes, it's a bar … a good one at that.
Nice drinks, mood lighting... it's more a place to get a group of friends together for a few drinks, rather then anything else. The theme of the bar seems to be garden party style, so plenty of Pimms !

The ultra excusive bar in Sydney ??? yep its here, and still with a ridiculous queue to get in, with plenty of door people to refuse you entry !

More of an older crowd, it felt like I was drinking my whiskey trying to explain politics to a blonde top heavy girl. It was just too much work !!!

I didn't last long in there before I went to a more lively place.

Loud music, plenty of drink and groups of girls, over looking the waterfront. Great place, no trouble getting in, dance area and the latest commercial music (R&B, pop, etc).

Lush, pure Lush, you can’t get more pretentious if your tried.

The Ivy at 5.30pm had the clipboard girls out in force (although they looked HOT!). By all means attempt to approach them, but they seem to have a standard of person they will allow down the alley let alone the front door (yes you enter this multi bar complex via an alley), so be prepared to be knocked back.

All out clubbing venue, which seems a little hellish getting in, but isn't (if you're the right age).

It's more of a younger crowd (well younger then me), so expect the 20 some things to be hanging there. It has live bands and stuff and over looks the waterfront, so quite a cool place.

I love the phrase at the door, No Attitude or No Entry ! ... i guess the young ones cause a little trouble !

Could not agree more, this is an excellent place to chill out.
At a certain time, they dim the lights and use candles light the area allowing you to feel more relaxed.
Waiter even walked me to the door of the ladies'.
Cocktails and menu are taste.
I remember walking out and making a mental note. One day I'm going to take all my friends here before a good night out.

This is the sort of place you wanna take your 1st date to, and trust me you will score a lot of brownie points!!!

The decor is amazing and the whole feel and mood of the place is chilled and relaxed. The cocktails are wicked, expensive but wicked!! try as many as you can.

As its a restaurant bar upstairs is the bar and downstairs they serve sushi and sashimi food.

Ghetto may sound like a place you don’t want to go to, but you’re wrong. This club has some big name American acts performing there, and a great back room view of the bay area. The DJ is pretty good, but watch out for the bar tenders. Depending on who you speak to, the drink prices will be varies. You do get a selection of foreigners here but most of the people are locals and the mix is good. Well worth a visit.

This seductive bar has a certain theme running through it. With ladies undies hanging up on the ceiling lights you could thing it’s a male only establishment, but with the alternative sex male bar tenders with their lean physic drawing the ladies you could have great fun here. BLVD is probably one of the main clubs on the Rambles. It has 3 rooms, playing 3 distinctly different music, from Rock, R&B to 70s Pop. Getting in can be a little bit of an issue with the Spanish Door Men being complete arses, but a staggered approach and you can sweep in with a large group of men.
Ratio wise is pretty high with a vast amount of American exchange students heading there for the music options. The club is pretty dark inside and the music is painfully loud, but the club does go on ...

Bloody difficult bar to find, but once inside the locals were great in helping. The drinks were call but the place was pretty dark. Mainly filled with locals, so you would need to have a very good reason to head here, unless it was a meeting place.

L18 in the classy Bund area, is a great bar, Plenty of eye candy good drinks and great music. The Bund itself is a clean and affluent area, and this bar doesn’t let the area down. If you want to be seen somewhere, L18 is as good a place as any.

This place was a let down! It was brand new and looked the part. After having to navigate past the promoter I was in, where you walk straight on to the dance floor. Roped off areas prevent the "average" from disturbing the "money wasters". Service at the bar was pretty poor, and music wasn't anything special. The crowd you could get anywhere in LA, and I wouldn't be surprised if this club changes its name soon in an attempt to re-brand itself.

If you can’t find it, just head to the area and listen to the loud music pumping in the mall. Club G is for the true party people that are looking to dance the night away. There’s quite a few westerns there, but mainly locals that are listening to R&B and Hip Hop. A bit of dance came on later but it was all good. The DJs are claimed to be award wining and some international. If you are looking for a party then hop over to the posh area of Xin tian di, where its totally not posh inside Club G.

Bar Rouge has the location and the décor to rival most bars in Shanghai. Being situated on the Bund the open roof top bar has a view of across the river (being the Peal tower, Jin Mao Tower, etc). Drink prices are your typical high end bar, and entrance might be a little tricky if not in the right mix of people or cash.
